Submission Guidelines

Please submit up to 5 poems, maximum 200 lines each or if beyond this value please submit only 1 Long poem.

 

For short stories and essays please submit between between 1000 and 5000 words.

 

We ask that the submission be in a Word document format, or RTF.

 

Reponse Times

 

We aim to reply within 4 weeks of your submission. But please note that if we give you detailed feedback, it means we genuinely believe you're work is publishable, so please consider the editors' comments, revise and re-submit. If re-submitting, please mention that your submission is a re-submit.

Payment Details

 

Payment will be in 2 contributors' copies.

Copyright Details

Ownership remains entirely with the author. After publication the author may republish in physical book form or by Kindle any time after the Publication date. However, the right to publish electronically such as online is restricted to a maximum of 10 lines per poem or no more than 20% of the published  work until 2 years after the Publication date in The Literary Portrait.
